History

In 1992, Treetech began its activities as Exatos Sistemas Elétricos Ltda. Created by experts from the command and control diagram sector who had previously worked with the multinational ABB (Asea Brown Boveri) company, Treetech became the exclusive supplier of power transformer and reactor protection, control and monitoring panels engineering projects and assembly services for ABB.

Treetech began its activities in 1992 with the name of Exatos Sistemas Elétricos Ltda., still as a part of the multinational ABB (Asea Brown Boveri) group. Exatos Sistemas Elétricos was responsible for transformer and reactor engineering projects and panel assembly.

In 1995, Treetech division was formed with the purpose of researching and developing equipment to manage substation assets.

Innovation, Consolidation and Expansion

The year of 2003 was a milestone. The company moved its headquarters to the city of Atibaia (SP), focused his core business on the IED lineup and on software and changed its name to Treetech Sistemas Digitais Ltda.

Partnerships and agreements with universities, research institutes and funding agencies in Brazil, together with a high level of investment in human capital (academic studies), resulted in the company establishing itself as a high end technology supplier.

In2008, Treetech received the single source seal from the U.S. Department of Energy for having the best transformer monitoring solution. In October, Treetech's internationalization efforts were recognized with the EXPORT-SP and CNI (National Confederation of Industry) awards for best company in the "Innovation and Productivity" category of the State of São Paulo.

In 2009, Treetech expanded the proposed solution by offering to the market the online analysis of the data obtained by the sensors and installed software - the Sigma4web ™.

Since then, the achievements have multiplied. Both the new lineup of smart sensors (Smart Devices™) and the SAM ™ consulting service were launched in 2010, during the IEEE-PES exposition, in the United States.

Later, this same year, Treetech won the "Oscar" of innovation in Brazil, FINEP 2010 Award, and also took the 1st place of the SESI Quality Award (PSQT). In this case, Treetech received recognition for its performance and contribution to the country, with the honorary title of Commander of the Order of Merit for Labor Getúlio Vargas, awarded by the federal government and the Ministry of Labor and Employment.
