Smart Solutions for Smart Grids

Together with its representative in Spain – the Krilinex, Treetech participates between 2 and 5 October of the 5th AWtr (Advanced Research Workshop on transformers). The event takes place every three years and is promoted by Cigré and IEEE-PES, two of the largest organizations promoting the study of the energy sector in the world. The edition 2016 will be held in the island of La Toja, Spain.

“The ARWtr aim is to provide a meeting of specialist from industrial, academic and research world engaged in an intense exchange of practical knowledge and the establishment of links of collaboration on new trends and issues of power, instrument and high frequency transformers”, as defined by the event’s website.

ARWtr 2016 edition will be the 5th. The event takes place every three years

Selected papers for the ARWtr2016 will be published in Journal Citation Report – Thomsom Reuters – which evaluates and organizes the impact of worldwide publications.

Treetech presents the paper: Equipment condition monitoring (ECM) using smart sensors for power transformers with special focus on real time asset diagnosis and prognosis”. It shows its experience with the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of on-line monitoring systems composed of smart sensors, communications and data processing software for diagnostics and prognostics of high voltage equipment condition, mainly for power transformers.
